• Strategic Candidate Endorsement & Support: We will rigorously evaluate and endorse political candidates—local, state, and federal—who demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to issues vital to Black communities. Our support will extend beyond endorsements to include robust campaign assistance, fundraising, and voter outreach.
• Voter Education & Mobilization: Akins PAC will lead comprehensive initiatives to increase voter registration, enhance voter education on critical issues and candidates, and maximize voter turnout in elections. We believe an informed and engaged electorate is the bedrock of democratic progress.
• Policy Development & Advocacy: We will actively research, develop, and advocate for progressive policies and legislation that directly address systemic inequalities.
